I think this is the best equipped location I have seen by far.
Gold, obsidian, potatos, carrots, limestone, hemp, reed, hematite, coal.
It has everything needed for iron and steel, plenty of food, hemp for clothing, and gold and obsidian to trade.

Re: Town with best resources
I just left so I don't know if I will get them all but:
cotton, carrots, corn, spinach, salt, coal, wheat and apples. Maybe stone too but I don't remember.

Re: Town with best resources
That is impressive. I hope there's at least some sort of settlement there.
Might not be quite as impressive, but I've never seen a town that beats this one for sheer number of resources:
Grass, stone, potatoes, grapes, daisies, wheat, tarragon, resin, tea leaves, carrots, strawberries, coffee cherries, cucumbers, hemp, raspberries, gas, apples (17 in total).

Re: Town with best resources
Okay... that's a great resource list. Here's one of a town that I enjoy quite a lot... almost as good as that list, IMO, but not quite as good:
stone, sand, gas, potatoes, tomatoes, sugar, carrots, barley, limestone, mud
Two of the three iron components (and hematite is only two towns away), three building materials, two foods, two healing foods, and a grain. Admittedly, it doesn't have a rare trade resource, but the gas and propane are plenty valuable. It's on the sea, and also very near wood, cotton, hemp and other necessities. The only drawback I've found so far is it's far from oil, but the gas/propane can serve most purposes.

It is a small settlement. But people are starting to come visit to trade more and more. Also it is not really close to the sea, that's a drawback.

Doesn't have anything to build decent buildings with, maybe?

Re: Town with best resources
stone, coal, diamonds, tin, wheat, copper
Coal, tin and copper are all you need to make bronze since phosphorous was taken out of the recipe. With the stone you can build a smelter, a building and a coal oven and a millstone (that takes some wood from another location). With those things you can grind wheat and cook it into bread in your coal oven and be completely self-sufficient. The diamonds are a bonus.
