This doesn't make any sense at all.

EDIT: Same for other vehicles.

Yeah... I hate that.

I do find it annoying when people write like this

'this is an example'

Instead of

'This is an example.'

I agree, though I must admit I do it 'wrong', too, sometimes (mainly if I'm on my tablet).

People emoting thoughts. And so this isn't just a rant and instead follows the purpose of the thread, I'll add: it puzzles me why players do this and it annoys me because then I have to make my chars act as if they can't read minds.

I've almost done that a few times... I caught myself in time, though.

I would guess that it's a player that is used to writing stories, and hasn't noticed yet that no one else does that in Cantr (in the case of both thought emotes and *she says*).

I agree with this completely. It's a tough adjustment to make, because I do think of cantr as a "story" and there are times when I struggle with the "flow". It doesn't bother me a great deal when someone does it occasionally, or in the heat of an interaction. But there are definitely times when it is awkward and inappropriate.

People who act like dogs / wolves / cats in the game annoy the hell out of me. Cantrians are not animals. It's very annoying.

I admit I play one of these characters. I do my best not to be too annoying with it. I have actually intended to kill him off several times but the concern shown by the other players made me think they enjoyed him so I kept playing him for their enjoyment.

I hope I find your character, I want more like that.

Reminds me of a certain 'dog turned sex addict' char.

Yes, like that one in particular. AND...bnlphan. some players seem to be fine with it. There are different opinions on the matter and I think If I found one that was actually well rp'd it wouldn't be as big of a deal, but the ones I've found are irritating and not all that well played. I personally find it annoying and not appropriate but there are others who don't agree.

Ahhh if one of my dogs became a sex addict I'd either fix him or find a way to humanely put him to sleep :)
