Repairing tools

Postby xXNathXx » Fri Aug 03, 2012 9:52 pm

Since Cantr is down, I'll seize the moment to ask a question:

Imagine you start repairing a tool, but never finish it. About 100 IC years later, someone finds the project and finishes it. The item should drop fully repaired to the ground, right?

PS: Sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes.

Yes, unless the project starter is still in that location (and alive) — in which case the tool would go into the project starter's inventory. "Fully repaired" isn't necessarily true though; more accurate is "repaired as much as the project specified."

Okay then... Just asking because I'm repairing some cool staff someone left behind lots of time ago, and I had doubts about it.

Thanks!

EDIT: Thinking about it... It means if you leave tools repairing they don't rot?

Yes.
