As of today my work load has doubled or worse, my characters will start dropping off one way or another and I will be keeping up with a very very few, (if I can even manage that). So when and if you are around one of mine and they end up dropping off, please be understanding and realize that it's nothing personal against those of you around mine, but when people quit at work and my real life work load increases, sacrifices have to be made. I apologize in advance for those of you around those I"m cutting back

I have an extremely posh wedding next month. I can not get rid of it because, for some strange reason, the bride and groom love me and my presence is important for them and... actually deep in my heart I would like to share that moment with them; after paying the gift, I had a look at my budget to get me an adequate dress and my options are crafting a newspaper dress Cyndi Lauper's stlye or use one of my party disguises... guess who has to go to a wedding dressed as Gilda, Princess of Eboli, Erzsebeth Bathory or a zombie smurf I should mix it all up and go as a bloodthirsty princess smurf. Feels like nothing is happening in Cantr at the moment and sometimes I forget to check some characters for days because there's nothing lighting them up.

So during an introduction I misspelled my character's name not once, but then again when I was actually trying to correct the first mistake. *sigh* And because of the obsessive individual that I am, it is totally bugging me that I now have no way to correct the misspelling except for an ooc message at this point which would be just dumb as no one probably cares anyway.

No, I did not unsub, yes I have much much less characters. Real life has caught up with me for quite a while it looks like, so I will be playing only a minimal number of characters. To those of you who had characters who were affected by the deaths of mine, I'm sorry but real life and my stress level (which is currently through the roof right now) has to come first. There are still 6 of me in game, that I am keeping for now while I sort out what I can handle "game-wise" and what I cannot. Please do not make me feel any worse than I do about the ones I've had to cut. It was necessary for my health and peace of mind while I am dealing with the real life things I am dealing with right now.

We had a family game day today with just me and my parents while my friend and her parents decided to drive all the way to North Carolina. We played lots of Rummikub (I won the most, and poor Ally didn't win once), Backgammon (I lost 2 of 3 games), and finally we got out chess and though I was at a huge disadvantage for most of the game, I managed to turn it into a stalemate of kings even though I was down by one bishop. It was really cool, especially since he (Ally) explained some of the strategy to me as we went along.

YOU ARE EVIL and I adore you! Cutting back never felt so hard before. A year and a half after, I find myself hating this silly attachment to some products of the imagination. I hope this won't mean I will stop being merciless with my own creations.
Since too much happy real life drains my brain and leaves me with the emotional stability of an opossum for cantr, as I've recently said to another player, I will try not to think and don't play the capricious god deciding who's to live and who's to die and put them all through a kind of natural selection process and see who really fights to survive.

Ever say something that came out a totally different way than you had intended, then you feel really bad because now the other person has already taken it the wrong way (likely) and the last thing you wanted was to offend.. and then you write run on sentences trying to explain but can't?
