event highlight on player page not going away

I clicked on one of my characters that was highlighted because he had finished drying salmon, so I put the salmon in the container and went to the events page and then back to my players page, but the character's name is still highlighted. I went to the character and nothing had happened to trigger the event highlight, so I returned again to the players page (note all this time I'm using the correct back buttons, not the browser back button) and it's still highlighted... I tried a few times and his name is still white, is there a way to fix this? Is it a bug or something? It's kind of annoying...

Ugh, so I tried a few more times and then refreshed a few times and FINALLY it went away by itself. But I still think you should know, I don't know if it was caused by something or just my computer being its usual retarded self...

EDIT: Now it's doing it to ANOTHER of my characters, it's really weird... and sometimes refresh doesn't work unless I try it several times. I don't know if this is happening to anyone else.

It sounds rather strange. Since it seems to work as intended for everyone else, maybe restart your browser or something? If it persist let us know what device you are on, and what browser you use.

Click "show all"
When it loads, click "events"
Click "Go back to players page"


Should clear it out.

It's still happening a lot, but it goes away if I do a hard F5 refresh on the player page, they un-highlight if there's no real event. But I did try clearing my browser and stuff. I'm using Google Chrome, and it's on a Toshiba laptop with Windows vista. The other night I tried on my dad's phone and it didn't seem to be doing it. And it does it at random, it seems like with only a few of my characters. It's weird..

Are you using extras like cantr enhanced when it happens?

Oookay... now something else is happening. It started about ten minutes ago, along with the pages I have viewed not going away when I simply click the "back to player page" button, but it also doesn't show things that SHOULD be highlighted. After I hit F5, the wrong things UNhighlight, and the right ones are suddenly all highlighted. This isn't really an inconvenience, I just have to remember to refresh every single time I return to my player page. But I don't know what this could be and I just think you should know, in case it's a bug and causes other problems.

Oh.. also the other day I was having bad lag, and one of my chars was introducing people, and she pointed at all three of them, I simply clicked all three point buttons in succession, which usually works for really fast pointing (I do it when I pick things up, too. While the page is loading I click all the arrows I can, or whatever). But when the event page loaded I had only pointed at the last person. So I tried to point at the other two, a man and a woman, and I tried to click both again, but it only showed that I pointed to the woman. And then, this is kinda weird, I tried clicking the man, and accidentally clicked twice, and when it went to the events it said I had pointed to the woman, and I was having lag so I refreshed, and then it was the man's name again, like it was supposed to be. It was weird, like his name changed to hers just until I refreshed or something.

I've been having this exact same problem, also with Google Chrome, on a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista. It does this with all of my chars, and I have to refresh every time I go back to the player page. But it also happens on my iphone. It's also been lagging for me, too. Badly...

Yeah it's still happening too, I just have to remember to refresh all the time =\ and I've been getting a lot of lag too. But it doesn't happen when I'm using my dad's Android. Also the site being down right now, it's everyone, not just me right? I'm getting a unable to connect but not the Cantr downtime error, though I got that error earlier so I don't know now if it's me or the site. I also can't access the wiki. It's been about an hour now.
