Dragging animals?
what about dragging animals into a building? then it would be possable to have a pet, or to cage up harmful animals without killing them ( more humane i think)

Oh no need to be sorry. If it sounded like I was being snappy at you, I wasn't
- I was just pointing it out.
Don't take offence. Never take anything I say that seems rude seriously, it's either a joke or interpreted wrong
- I'm not an angry type of person, I wouldn't flip off on something so simple as a repeated suggestion

Anthony's an ex Khmer Rouge boss, and he will kill you on a dime if he ever had GAC powers. But *smirks* he don't got it.
Although the idea has been suggested before, I'll take the oppurtunity to resuggest barns to hold animals, and domesticated livestock in. Of course as well, garages for vehicles.

Okay, Nitefyre, I can 'add' Garages and Barns as buildings, but they won't have the ability to hold vehicles or animals, so they'd be a normal building until they CAN hold them. Sound good, or just wait till they have a use?

Say what? Wait...if you don't live in the US, then you might not have covered the Vietnam War. One of the little 'side effects' of which was the Khmer Rouge taking over Cambodia and systematically killing a large portion of the population, particularly any intellectuals.

Sorry to cut into the history class...
but that barn idea's a good one. I had been thinking about how it wouldn't make any sense to drag a herd of animals into a cottage or some such building, but now that puts my mind at rest. Maybe a normal building could contain just one or two animals, afterall in the past people would live in the same room as their prize cow, pig etc.

having animals and people living in the same buildings is something that characters should decide for or against in game. it's not something the programming department should deem correct or incorrect. having a new type of building for animals is ridiculous. it should be possible to drag them into any type. if you want a barn you can call your building or cottage "barn".

In the winter in some environments all the livestock would move into the house for warmth. For all that matters.
The number of animals you could fit in a building should depend on the size of the animals and the size of the building. There definitely shouldn't be special storage limits for animals.
Ought to be hard to get many buffalo into a cottage, though.
