Hi!
I'm new to the game and have questions, probably the first of many.
Anyway, I was wondering about the play time limit... an hour of play-time seems pretty short, especially when it takes others a half hour to a few hours to respond to your actions and poses. Is there a way to refresh that timer for more time? Or do people RP somewhere else, like IRC or somewhere?
Next question is about character stats. I noticed that mine are very poor compared to everyone else around me, and since it says in the FAQ that these don't change, I am wondering. Do people generally let a new character with poor stats just die and wait for a better one? It would seem like a cop-out to me.. but at the same time I can see people not wanting to spend hours and years rl playing a character who'll end up not being able to do much of anything? So I wondered what the convention is here. I mean, it could be that the reason all the characters I see who survived childhood have so much better stats... is all the ones like me got eaten by animals quickly, or otherwise couldn't survive, not because they gave up on them?
I may starve anyway beore either of the above become important issues for my current self
but those are things I needed to ask about for consideration and play in general.
