I need a new apartment. Maybe next spring. Its getting too hard to climb the stairs some nights and mornings, the kitchen isn't really suited for someone who wants to cook and I'm really sick of having a driveway thats long but only wide enough for one car, and shared. This especially sucks when i come home for a nap, because i like to park on the street so i dont get blocked in by the other car when she gets home. But our street is only wide enough for one car to side park, so when, like today, some people are all parked out there, it forces me into the driveway plus cuts into nap time since i have to get up early and wait for the other girl to move her car.

Its also annoying in winter because we're always shuffling cars since road parking is illegal then. Really really want a place with my own driveway spot.

Today was a gloomy day with rain and no sun. I worked in the lab and listened to Apocoliptica to match my mood. Then driving home, towards the coast, in front of me, a big white fluffy cloud with blue sky on top lit up, with sun rays pouring out the top and making my day. It was such an uplifting sight. The traffic was thin and dinner was on the table when I got in. What more can I want?

I've slept through English and Calculus so far. Jazz is next, and chances are we're marching. I am going to collapse if I have to march.

Awesome thing: former roomie bought me a loaf pan and a square baking dish.

Funny thing: I think my half-sister subtly implied that I must have gotten married because I'm pregnant. I wonder if she'd be horrified to learn the real reason.

Random thing: People I haven't heard from in months or years are suddenly crawling out of the woodwork.

Super uncool thing: I cannot keep my mind focused on a single thing for more than 5-10 minutes, except sometimes it's more like three. I have a test tomorrow. I can't even focus on reading for pleasure for more than a few minutes at a time. Just writing this post has taken something like twenty minutes! Basically, I am ridiculous and stupid.
