Here is my feelings not only for violence and death, but also for lost. When a character I'm close to dies depending on what character it is I morn and feel upset and angry but after a few days my character moves on.

After an attack my, characters react with violence and tries to defend themselves until that person is gone. Sometimes they chase that person if they have a shield.

But lost is the most painful to me. My char. just lost someone and its not like this person is gone. NO, this person just broke off the relationship and my char. may have to see this person again. Maybe with someone else. He is very hurt and even feels like given up. Thinking of helping everyone else is the only thing that keeps him going.

Yeah, this is like real life because you feel your chars. sadness, their sorrow, their hurt. This is just a game but everyone wants to win. Everyone wants to succeed and have their chars. happy.

Well, I'm signing off. I'm going to try to make my poor chars. heart feel better. I guess at least my other chars. are happy. 8)

Aye this is a very good topic. might even inspire people to play with more emotion.

I play each of my character in a reflection of my own emotions. Right now I have just fallen in love with this girl I work with and we have started dating. So I am very happy right now. And so my characters are very kind to everyone and or at least kinder than they normally act.*coughstarfirecough**coughspikecough*

um im srry i guess im coming down with something :D

i have not had any of them lose anyone close yet but i have had one kill someone. He wanted to die and gave me all he had and told me to kill him. I did but my character didnt want to do it and still feels bad about what he had done.

i guess the point is that we should try and play our characters from their point of view. let your self be that person. how are you going to respond IRL to that same situation.

Yeah...even if I try to avoid it your personal emotions often rub off on your characters. I lost my girlfriend a while ago and suddenly almost all my characters got relationships...I guess I was trying to compensate in some way.

I try not to let my own emotions reflect on my characters though...because it isn't very good RPing.

Well we all play differently.

to me this is my escape from my own living hell that i can do what I want to do IRL through my characters. Be it they are in love, trying to make everyone else around them happy, or secretly working their way into a sect and then poping out and slaughtering the whole lot of them.

It just like I said though. WE all have our own ways of playing the game. thats just my way.

That is kind of scary...

ehh/ it might be. not to worry. Im no psyco killer. much to smart for that.

I think that everything I say though is getting out of context. But i am not going to try and make it all pretty or anything seeing as how I can never get the right words out without seeming "scary"

Im going off topic now so I will just leave it at that.

I'm just kidding with you :)

But as you said...we all have different ways of RPing.
I'm not so fond of the ones getting pleasure from killing off other characters though....(no accusation)

Tried to punch a guy once and and got locked up and tortured to death for refusing to tell my name. What makes people take such harsh actions against crime?
When in doubt- empty the magazine.

People are like wolves, wizard man. But intelligent beast they are. They set rules that legalize killing in some occasions, then take their chances on slaying the ones who get on the wrong side of the law. But some of them, if not all, enjoy the executions and torturing. And they're ready to torture everyone who dares to say that aloud!

here I found the right way of saying this.

THIS... :P

sorry that was my being a little child for a moment but really.

I just get into my games. I don't play something like I play this unless I have fully gotten addicted to it.

With many of my characters I have now killed countless characters for all sorts of reasons. No illegal reasons though. A couple of my characters are leaders of a couple locatiopns so they'd rule with an iron fist. There's a certain rush you get my seeing that one little line telling you that so and so character died. Even more of a thrill if that chracter is of some value in the world or quite old.
All hail his Purple Majesty!!!
