Oh my god! That is awful! Who is doing that? You can call the cops, you know, that's cruelty to animals.
When I lived out in the country in south carolina, and people tried to breed dogs to fight, someone would always mysteriously shoot their mailbox and steal their dogs.
People who hurt animals are fucking awful.

My mom did call the cops and they said there was nothing they can do. It's not just my mom that it's happened to, either.

Call the local news station. They'd jump at the chance to shame the police.

Today's been a pretty good day. I took a mental health day off from school and though I missed a quiz and reviewing for my cell phys test, it was pretty good. I don't feel like I've done a total 180 and am ready to deal with school and all, but I feel good, nevertheless.

Spent the morning on Cantr and then raiding dungeons having fun just hanging out at a friend's place. Then spent the afternoon/evening with another friend having endless epic fun. Lol. Dude's a riot but really made everything feel okay.

Work all weekend.

Put in for a day off next weekend. Guess I find out if I got it or not tomorrow. I've been preparing myself for the rejection

I've got this guy at work that CONSTANTLY interrupts people with unrelated conversation. I've begun basically ignoring him every time he does this now. So far, he's a slow learner.

So much for any plans to sleep. I just spent the last fifteen minutes staring at the ceiling in the dark thinking it was 4:20 when really it's still 1:30-ish. (Err, well, it was when I first typed this up. Phone keyboards are slow. :p )

Anyways, jazz MPAs went okay.... Excellent-Superior-Excellent. Not well enough to go to State, and not well enough to earn another medal for the wall, but I must say, my solo on soprano sax was pretty epic. People were raving about it and cheering after it well into the next soloist's time (who went sixteen quickly-passed measures after mine ended). It felt amazing to hear the audience react like that to my playing; it hasn't happened to me before at the level it happened yesterday, and honestly, I haven't heard it happen to very many other people like that.

I feel highly accomplished.


In eighteen hours, I will be at Solo & Ensemble, playing what everyone at my school commonly refers to as Demon (though only two-thirds of the band kids know exactly why), the contrabass clarinet. And it just dawned on me that I can count on two hands how many times I've played it, and on one hand how many times I've played it as a full run-through with the rest of the woodwind choir. Yet, I sight-read the part without much difficulty, so I'm not too worried about it.

I'm really worried.
I've been having this issue with caffeine lately, where every time I drink caffeine, several things happen:
First, I start feeling this thing in my stomach like I'm physically anxious or nervous.
Usually, I fall asleep sometime after that, and wake up in such awful pain in my torso that I can't think, and I feel like I'm dying. The pain's so bad that I literally try everything to get rid of it (while still half asleep, my brain muddled with sleep and pain) and nothing works. Breathing, not breathing, lying down, sitting up, walking. It just hurts.
But I don't have insurance, or money, so I can't go to the doctor, and anytime I tell WebMD I'm having chestpains, it freaks out and is like "GTFO AND GO TO THE ER!" which I don't have the money to do.
So I don't know what's wrong with me. And there's nothing I can do about.
And it's bothersome and worrisome.

Stop drinking caffeine. Problem solved.

Also, is your heart racing? Have you tried pepto? Sounds like you have indigestion. If you drink a lot of soda, you might have given yourself a stomach ulcer, because soda is acidic. The anxiety is totally the caffeine. The other symptoms I would put on the soda itself unless your heart is racing.

I don't know, it doesn't feel like indigestion. The pain isn't in my stomach, it's in my--muscles? Flesh? I don't know.
I -do- drink a lot of soda though.
And I've had indigestion, and this isn't it. The pain is so severe and so sudden, I literally can't think and just stumble around the house going "Uhhh. Ugggh."

Maybe I'm turning into a zombie?
Sometimes it kind feels like someone is squeezing my heart or my muscles around my torso, and sometimes it's just a strange, omnipresent pain. And it generally goes away after a couple of minutes.

I get random sharp pains and twitches and drink a fair bit of caffeine, but they're pretty... um, random.
