Okay, okay, I will try.

I don't think it will suck that much, just a little much.

Better? :lol:

@Chroma: This has been the worst year of my life too. Just think "from now on, everything only can get better". Being at the bottom, the only thing that can happen now is going up... and higher than their eyes can see :)

@Arenti: Nothing sucks forever ;)

@phoenixannwn: Being drunk from about 0:00 (after eating the grapes) to 8:00 am. Wine, cider, mojito, and honeyrum..... Couldn't get on the internet while that! Hint: if you feel the imperative of writing something while drunk, tie your hands! Believe me, you can write the most embarrasing things.

I say/write ridiculous or embarrassing things while completely sober. After finally convincing my cat to let me out of bed this morning, I stumbled toward the mirror, stood there with my eyes closed for a few minutes and then, while clearly indicating my left boob, said "Oh, good, there's that egg I was trying to hatch."

And the other day I was "so jealous of myself when I stand still!"

Former roomie is over and we're baking a ridiculous amount of cookies and making spaghetti. I'm excited, even though my health issue will probably prevent me from eating more than a couple bites.

I slept on my parent's couch last two nights because the baby took my spot in bed (she's very sick and never sleeps well at my parents anyway). At 2am, she starts crying, awaking me out of a sound sleep. Except I never woke up. I apparently ran though the downstairs, though the kitchen/dining room smashing into every piece of furniture along the way. I got halfway up the step to the second floor and collapsed on the landing, which is where I think I woke up. My wife, who was in the bathroom making a bottle, poked her head out and asked me if I was having a stroke. Apparently, I was lying there twitching. Laid there for another minute or two before I made my way incoherently back to the couch.

During this whole time, my wife never factored into the equation. I think I forgot she even existed. I just knew my daughter was crying and I needed to get to her. Quite amusing.

I do stuff like this all of the time, because I'm such a heavy sleeper that I like, refuse to awaken, and the people around me are like really insistent on me being awake. I've punched people, cursed at them, had entire dreams where I got up and got ready to go, only to wake up and still be totally unready, and even eaten entire things and carried on entire conversations while asleep. I woke up once on a roadtrip and my mom was like "Are you going to finish that?" and I was like, "Finish what?" and turns out I'd ordered a cookie-dough Blizzard, eaten half of it, and carried on an entire conversation with my mom about ordering it and also STDs, all while I was asleep. And this is not uncommon.
On another note, not hungover! Yay! A little sore, though, 'cause I slept so long. And chicken parmesan, yummy!
Edit: Also, just found out that a sandwich that goes bread+mayo+ham+corn chips+ham+honey mustard mixed with mustard+bread=tastes like a PB&J. Weird.

I llol'ed.

I don't sleepwalk or anything like that, but my mom when she was younger sleptwalk got up one night, sleptwalk down the stairs into the kitchen, put her retainers in the plants, and then went back to bed. They didn't find her retainers for two years.

Another incident more recently:
"Are there any tomatoes in this?"

Doug's story made me larf out loud (which is a bad thing, because my son is visiting us over night from college, and he's trying to get some sleep on the couch in the next room (because he's going to work with my wife in the morning) while I'm giggling insanely).

New Year's was quiet for us, corresponding as it did to the Sabbath this year (of course, in ANY year, we don't actually do much for NY). Only thing my wife did special was make some kind of fruity drink (rum, cranberry ginger ale and OJ, maybe? with a maraschino cherry), with a virgin version for the kids, to go with dinner. The older three kids stayed up until midnight to watch the fireworks (which you can see from our house), while our 150lb chicken of a dog cowered in fear at the noise, and didn't leave the hallway outside our bedroom all night long.
