I really liked Antigone, but that's probably because I wasn't forced to do anything with it. My English teacher at the time suggested we go see a play being put on at the university and offered extra credit for it since we were doing Oedipus at the time. I didn't truly appreciate Oedipus until I got to college and observed it in vegetable form, though. Only good thing we did in that class before I quit going.

I don't understand what I did to Snick's eyes, but I wanted a more current picture. I took that last night, and it's how my hair looks now. :]] It's getting so lonnng!
I miss my blue hair, though. I miss my pink and green and red hair slightly less. But I watched Scott Pilgrim vs. The World like two nights ago and now I want my blue hair back.
Edit: Thought/Rant of the Day: Ex-Boyfriend wants me back. Haven't I been through enough?

Recovering. He convinced the hospital to let him come home the night before christmas, promising them that my mother and I would do everything for him. I think he drove them nuts.

I didn't claw, bleach, acidify, or in any way do anything to remove my own eyes from my face. I like them right where they are, thank you.

Y'all just reminded me of me when I got my wisdom teeth out (pre-Cantr).

So I purposely went to the office in my pajama bottoms and a red shirt. The pajamas were due to the fact that I planned to fall asleep in the chair and I wanted to be comfortable. The red shirt was from a horror story my band director told me; apparently when he had his wisdoms out, he woke up and his face and shirt was caked in blood from the operation.

I went in, had the operation... they dosed me with a half-hour's worth of general anaesthesia, so I guess they expected me to be extra loopy when I came out of it. But I was conscious from the time they were stitching my gums for the last tooth. Really, it felt like one of those times where I'm lying there in bed not wanting to get up, but not really asleep either. I snapped out of that "stupor" quickly like I normally do with the "awake but not awake" thing. I was awake and mentally rational.

They had me stand up. I was perfectly alright as far as balance and vision (other than not having my glasses). And yet they still led me to the recovery room, where I was forced to lie down. I was like, Why are they making me lie down? I was just lying down for however long I was out. They brought my mom in to sit in with me and to make sure I didn't try to sit up. Of course, I tried to sit up and my mom was like, "NOO! LAY BACK DOWN!" And I, still completely rational in my mind, start to sob without my own consent, and of course it's muffled sobs because I have gaze shoved in my mouth, but sobs and tears nonetheless. My mom's all like, "Why're you cryin'?" And I pointedly sit up and steal my phone from her purse (I had made her hold it during my surgery) and text her that I didn't want to lie down, I'd just been lying down.

I was soooo mad.... lol I don't normally get all teary-emotional like that, so I blame it on the drugs. Later, we went to watch Shrek on DVD, and I got all pissed off and sobbing and stuff because there were subtitles and I really didn't want subtitles. XD

That night I took too much oxycodone without eating, and spent the next day sleeping and puking my guts out. I could hardly breathe when I did that, and it was really scary.

But from the day after on, I was fine.
