Double Posting and Blanks
It'd be neat if the "Talk to all" button was disabled for a second or two (or even in ajax refresher reset it) so that you couldn't hit enter or click the button causing double/triple/or more posts.
It's also be nice if the input that game in did a trim() on white space and checked for blank and didn't allow blank posts to be typed.

Agreed.
I'll implement it for pickup buttons too. (And everyone screamed "Nooooooooo" in a Cantr mass-quire).

Was that a double post, or are you trying to make a point I fail to see?

Re: Double Posting and Blanks
Since this is kind-of, sort-of, slightly related (about the events page anyway), I've been wanting to ask, what's the deal with 'rn' constantly showing up on the end of people's posts? I'm guessing it might be from leaving a space there or something but don't remember it ever happening before, and it's pretty annoying.

Re: Double Posting and Blanks
Someone posted it as a bug when using the large text box. I noticed several chars tacking on the "rn" to the end of their posts but figured it was a mobile device since I don't use the large box ever.

Re: Double Posting and Blanks
If there is \ stripping going on, it could be doing it in the wrong order or something might not be happening right. As \r\n is line return, newline. Just a guess.

Re: Double Posting and Blanks
In the test environment, there was duplication of \ backslashes. Maybe the fix for this killed the newline backslashes.

Re: Double Posting and Blanks
It definitely sounds like it's done in the wrong order.

Since echoman said he'd do this, should it be moved to accepted?

Re: Double Posting and Blanks
Can the double-posting protection be implemented on radio's, too?
