Ferdinand Dreyfus. I made him about...a month ago. A random thief/guy who hits people killed him "for his food." Sadly Ferdie had no food. I'm still mad about it :x

:'( Agreed. From what I can tell, a totally pointless massacre. I was Alice. She's been quite sleepy the past while, but she was very active for most of her life.

Lotsa people lost characters that day from there. *hugs* I personally think there should be a memorial for Xanth. lol. But whatever right...? I really liked Alice as a character though. She was sweet.

Passing this along:

Captain Starlyn McEnroe - Starlyn started out her life in a hostile area where the barons had returned and taken over towns near the Sjoftich area killing many. She'd had MANY end up joining her to fight and traveled with her, some on foot, some on vehicles determined to stop the Barons from murdering any other towns. When the war was over she sailed around as a pirate / thief hunter more than anything else. She sailed until she found Scarab Haunt, finally settled down and made a home there. After some troubles in that town, she lost it, kidnapped Libby, the man she loved and ended up sailing off with him. Soon after he died, she'd given up and lost the will to live herself and died on her ship.

Sabine White / Morrison - started out sabine Morrison in Seatown hills and soon after her spawning moved to Seatown. She fell in love with a man named Otie Slayer but her love life was complicated by a woman named Ciara as well. A lot of the details from that time frame escape my memory but eventually Otie was banished from Seatown and Sabine moved away to Seatown forest where she lived with Mary Williams for a time. Sometime after Mary's death the forest was led by a man named Fearless and Sabine couldn't stand him and the way he ran things. She asked the DHN area to assist in removing him from leadership and once he was killed she was in control of the forest. She spent many years leading the forest until Lucas White showed up one day (someone she knew from the past and someone she'd grown fond of) and they became close. Eventually Sabine left the forest in someone else's care and moved back to Seatown to live with Lucas. They got married sometime later. When Lucas died she was heartbroken, he was the reason she continued to survive. For years after his death she tried to stay that way to keep his dream for Seatown alive, but she just couldn't keep going anymore. She'd had enough and when the time came for her, she went into her husband's tomb where she died at her husband's side in the company of a dear friend who stayed with her through it.

Queen Nora King - Nora is the hardest one I've ever let go of. Nora was one of my very first characters and began her life spawning in San D'Oria as a note thief. She took the notes and took off. Jimmy king followed after her shortly after and after a good conversation on the road, he convinced her to turn around and come live in the town. She spent her entire life living in San D"Oria and rarely leaving it. As time went by she fell in love with Jimmy and married him. Eventually Jimmy was named King of San D'oria, so naturally she became Queen. Jimmy had set a baron in command upon his death and Nora was not going to change his wishes but the Baron refused to take the position as the leader of San D'Oria over the Queen instead choosing to remain loyal to her. The others there loved her and agreed. So Nora remained in command. Her people were more important to her than anything else. She was however, responsible for the death of two known Stone Knights, Adam Brinks and Distrebutant and of course one of her own baronesses Layla whom she thought brought trouble and would cause more harm to her people. Eventually word came that a group of killers took out Pok and renamed the lighthouse, a message with her name. (I found it amusing) However it disturbed Nora and she was more worried for her people than for herself, always worried when this group would come for them next. But she moved on with her life, took comfort in her family and over time, she became more and more sleepy, less active and it was time to let her go. She died in her bedroom in her own bed with one of her best friends at her side.

These three characters were three of my favorites which is why I held onto them as long as I did but it wasn't so much their lives that made it that way, but the rp with those around them. It would be completely impossible for me to list every single character that affected their lives. Those of you closest to them know who you are. But I wanted to take a moment and for those of you who were friends, enemies, family to these three, thank you all for the amazing rp involving these three characters. I did enjoy them and I would not have if there weren't so many wonderful rp'ers with them. I appreciate every one of you.

And... to everyone in New Xanth. It was hard to watch all my chars friends and family killed right in front of her and her pain will soon be shown to everyone... Once she has the chance to... actually sit back and think about what all has happened.

Those two characters were two of the most rediculously powergamy extremely inconsistent acting characters I have ever seen. I've seen Nora be a nice person and then a blood thirsty killer with absolutely no remose at an insult. It was poor roleplay and very ridiculous.
