Don't forget it's uphill both ways.
And having to take many books with them.
Books? You had books? Lucky! Back in my day, we had to drag stone tablets.
So, how old are you really?

My grandfather would eat one day something and the other day something different and the third day what was left of both meals combined to eat.

Can anyone think of a reason this topic shouldn't be bumped to Non-Cantr Discussion? Hmm?

I was actually thinking about that myself a few hours ago. I think these should indeed be moved there.

I'm only 18, and I think during kindergarden in Indiana I walked to school, and the next couple years in Wisconsin I walked across a neighborhood to a bus stop through snow. I distinctly remember a few scenes from those walks.
Certain amount of miles? Eh, I guess you got me there.

Is anyone else like me: too afraid of taking the IQ test because you see yourself as an intelligent person and don't want to get disappointed?

This doesn't let me vote because I voted before the forums were upgraded so I guess it doesn't know who voted for which option but it still knows I've voted before, yet it taunts me with radio buttons.
