Character Slots not opening up?

Yeah, I didn't think they did, but I wasn't sure. I have now emailed support about it though.

The way it works is that the limit (40 days) is reduced from the current Cantr date and if someone died later than that and is young enough, the slot will be blocked. If time in Cantr is stopped, the countdown is also stopped because it's tied to the dates. The only easy way to create exceptions would be to temporarily reduce the limit by the amount of days lost during the lockup and put it back to 40 after the addicts have had time to spawn new characters, but can't you just be content with the ones you have for the next two or three weeks?

I have one character slot from a charrie that died on day 2960. It is now day 3000, but the slot is not open. Do I have to wait for the time that the charrie died or something?
