Color My World

I think it would be neat if text could be color coded. Like yellow for things whispered to you and white for things said to everyone.

Colour changes have often been suggested.

Custom CSS style sheets have been said to be in the works - although I don't have any idea how far it's got?

It would sure make the game a lot more easier to follow. It's sometimes hard to keep up a conversations with several people at the same time in the big cities...

Yes, I support this wholeheartedly. Please implement it so that I would be less tempted to leave Cantr.

That looks awesome but I'd prefer it if everyone saw the same thing I did.. It just feels wierd if I'm the only one getting the good quality style.

What would the difference be with various skins/styles skins then?

Exactly the same thing, you'd not see the same view as everyone else then either.

Besides, the stylish variant is just that. An alternative style.

Ah, see, I'm sort of against skins in that regard.. but purely for selfish reasons, I'd like to know that what I see is what others see. It's aesthetic really, but..

You can't ever be certain of that. Any reader (as in browser, braille reader, mobile phone, etc) can and will display things differently, the only thing you can be certain of is that the text elements in their basic form is the same. (i.e. the order the character appears in any text block is the same, font, size, color, style differs. Even the order of text blocks probably differs sometimes.)

I have been using my own stylish script with Cantr since I restarted playing, because I can't have a big green blob on my screen at work. :) So you haven't seen the same thing as me for a long time.
