It doesn't turn into a hyperlink but it's possible to "speak" the words.

I've seen it happening so it's strange that the query didn't pick up any.

Probably is just because of the :, /, or .
Try doing a search just for "http".

Oh, right, I forgot about that. :// gets urlencoded into %3A%2F%2F. There were three links mentioned in messages, two for the forums and one for google. But still none in custom descriptions. I felt tempted to link to a picture with one of my characters but I couldn't find one that would've looked enough alike.

Assuming the image was an accurate representation of your character, would it breach any rules to link an image from a description?

I wonder

In my personal opinion it wouldn't, but I'm not a 100% sure what the official policy is. Since broken links would be much less a problem than for example in notes, links to off-site sources could even be permissable.

With the current peer-reporting mechanism in place and working well, I don't see this as a problem.

EDIT: PD says that internal links are allowed only, just like in notes.

The oldest lock that still has existing keys to it.

-How many lockless keys there are
-How many keyless locks there are
-The lock with the most keys.

Surely the wiki must be an exception? At least for guiding newbs?

That was in reference to character descriptions, not normal talk.
