Corset

Postby Cheshierekat » Sat May 22, 2004 6:24 pm

Can't see the corset my char is wearing. She is not wearing anything on top of it. Just the corset and leather pants. But in the descrip it only has her wearing the pants. Is this a bug?

She seems strong, is in her fourties. She wears a clingy shirt with ruffles about the arms made of a gentle weave of cotton cloth. The sleeves extend to the wrists, ending widely and the shirt itself hugs the hips and extends to nearly the neck, a skirt made of cotton is bound around the waist and hangs to the ankles. The stitching seems to be of decent skill, a pair of thigh length leather boots, with high heels and metal buckles down the side that is guaranteed to turn heads and a garment specifically crafted for the torso and upper waist. It encompasses the midsection in a figure trimming funnel of material and closes in the back with tightly. The sides are rigid and well sewn with little decorative embellishments.

It does show up on this character.

Yes, but when the other char in the room looks at her, he can't see the corset. I should have been more specific, sorry....I can see the descrip, he can't.

This should go under suggestions most likely, but as great as the descriptions for clothes are, sometimes I feel they're a bit to lengthy. If for example, you scratched the words, specifically, and form fitting, from the highlighted description above, then it would have a better flow to it.

This isn't a suggestion :P

She's saying one of the characters can't see the corset on her character, yet others can.

As for clothing going overtop others (Which is why, I assume, you think suggestion) - this is a work in progress. All the clothing needs to be given height, width, length values, then have detection to see if it overlaps something else, etc etc. It'll take awhile, because there are more important things being worked on.

No Anthony, what I meant was that my char can see her corset, but other people can't even when she isnt wearing any other clothing.

LOL....

Now that Anthony finally knows what the issue is, he can start thinking about the solution. Since explaining the question to him took nearly 1 page, I wonder how long it will take untill....

(Just getting even, Anthony :P ).

Great, after 1 page of explaining the question to Anthony we all hoped might have a solution... And he can't do anything about it.

I'd happily accept the challenge, but I have been taught not to hit girls. :P

Just because I can't do anything about it, doesn't mean I can't notify the correct people to fix the problem :)
