Animal Crisis?

I have a char that's alone in the djungle, collecting wood. Or should I say, supposedly collecting wood?

It turns out I am collecting bananas half the time, and cooking meat the other half.

7 leopards
4 coyotes
13 bearded vultures
5 sabretooths
12 titan beetles

not writing down the calm animals...

1. If your town has no food source, go find someone to live that does. Not a difficult idea... no poverty trap in Cantr.

Apparently cantrians don't understand the concept of migration due to scarcity.

Seriously, I just spawned one in the mountains recently who will die of starvation due to this problem. Then I will be penalised due to them being under the age barrier and have that slot blocked for a month or two (will be the second in a row this has happened to).

One of those two issues needs fixing, and I'd suggest the latter is easier.

I'd suggest against removing the the penalty for having newspawns die.... and just go with my tried and true of "F it" and pump the system and move on.

One of my characters is on the mountains and there are condors and mountain goats. The first day there were 7 condors and one mountain goat. The second day there were about 7 condors and 3 mountain goats, I killed one of the mountain goats and got enough meat for two projects, and in that time I can probably kill some condors too. I guess it depends a lot on where you are and how lucky you get.
