"Tick" timings

Postby joo » Tue Sep 22, 2009 4:25 pm

If you know them, post them.

Fictional example:
  • Soil erosion tick occurs every 24 hours at 05:35 GMT+01:00

No, I just wish to have them all in one place, for possible future reference. I do not really pay attention to tick times myself, and personally believe that those who do are guilty of "powerplaying" to some extent (inb4 said players trying to justify themselves and/or powerplaying in general).

Sailing ticks do not correspond to tide-related events. They're moreso subdivisions of the paths which water vessels travel over time.

Characters often refer to the sailing tick as the tide.

You just need a moon that revolves around the world in two hours. Since people seem to see the moon in different places and sometimes not at all it is apparently very fast indeed.

Food tick is at 7:31.

edit: Death tick is at 0:04.
