Typically the motion picture company takes 90-95% of the revenue from movie sales. As the weeks go on, the % becomes less and less, and so do the number of people attending that movie. This is why snacks cost so much at the movie theater, that's really where the money is made.

[rant]
1. Why do people play rap music at weddings? Like the grinding I wanna .....well, you know. Hello? :p
2. Why does anyone ever think playing "death" music right before the bride & groom's grand entrance is funny? And why does anyone think it is okay to make fun of the bride & groom during their speech? Do it at the rehearsal dinner instead of making the rest of us feel embarrassed for your poor son.

It was one of my best friends but I had to question some of the taste involved - and that "death" music was a "joke" by the step-father of the groom. But not at all funny.

When I left work this evening, my Jeep squealed like a banshee when I started her up. Got out to check under the hood and my serpentine belt was broke. :( Had to have my poor baby towed. Called a friend to bum a ride and she insisted I borrow one of her mustangs while my truck is in the shop. So... I have this beauty sitting in my driveway (well, not THIS one, but hers looks just like it - that's not my house):

I feel kind of guilty for enjoying having this sexy pony while my poor Jeep is sick....but it is a sweet ride. I just hope the bill for repairs isn't bad.

I love the "new" style, going back to the muscle car look. I hated stangs in the 90's. They are fun to drive, but I don't think I'd want to own one.

Sadly, I had to give it back to my friend this evening since they fixed my Jeep (not complaining there). Cost me $800, though!!! yeow!

:(

Few can tell the tale of riding in a hot GT down Front Street then Broadway in flash floods and gunfire with an entourage of groupies and band members in tow. I felt like Earnest Hemmingway that night...only no hangover the next morning.
