I'm always impressed when I see people go to the effort, but couldn't be bothered myself.

omfg I didn't know anything about that. That's helpful. XD
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

DDDD-H.MM: (Person that I do not call by name.) says: "Yeah!"

DDDD-H.MM: You see (Person that I do not call by name.) expertly hurt (Person that I do not call by name.) using a bare fist.

Powergaming?
'Yay, OMGOMGOMG, I have a character that has expert fighting! I am sooooo happy now!!!' -- Powergamer.

Update:

DDDD-H.MM: (Person that I do not call by name.) says: "Pretty damn quiet place. Where's the nearest war?"

DDDD-H.MM: (Person that I do not call by name.) says: "Aw hell, that didn't hurt. Wanna see?"

DDDD-H.MM: You say: "I am (My char)... What did you hurt yourself for..?"

But it's pretty limiting if you're awkward or novice at fighting. You always have to make sure not to upset the wrong people or you might get yourself killed, or even worse, get your friends in trouble as well.

Which makes for nice Roleplaying opportunities.

Bottoms up

2658-1.12: a woman in her thirties says: "*patches of freshly uncovered earth indicate places where many notes have been recently picked up*"

2658-1.11: a woman in her thirties says: "*strange drawings are scratched in the dirt, bearing labels like "Blue Gray's House", "The Moat", "Moat Monster", "Box filled with One Bazillion Diamonds" and so forth*"

2658-1.11: a woman in her thirties says: "*An enormously fat man is drying dung for cookfires. A woman in her thirties is gently snoring, seated at the base of one of the statues. Several people focus quietly on gathering food of various kinds*"

2658-0.31: You say: "*She bites gently on her bottom lip, looking nervously around her*"

Although, I'm not 100% sure I disapprove...

Aww, that's kinda nice. I think it would be neat if there was a field for a free-form location description that everybody could edit. Although it would be vulnerable to trolling.

I know, that's a weird one, isn't it.

Technically I guess it's bad RP, but I kinda like it.

I didn't think it was so very bad. *Shrugs*

Anyway:

Two things:

1 -- I hate when people automatically assume you are rping SEX just because you are whispering, sheesh -- just because I am whispering doesn't mean I'm having sex okay! Did you ever think that we weren't close enough for you to see us/hear us well enough to distinguish anything? :p

2 -- can you not describe EXACTLY THE SAME THING every time you talk? I know you have blond hair or your eyes are blue or your face is pale -- does it have to be in every single sentence?

*Sigh* Okay, I'm done. Maybe this should have gone in rant. lol

Agreed on both accounts.

I wouldn't even roleplay sex whispering. Just alone with the person I would roleplay sex with.

Thank you! *Sighs again, a big mope* Seriously, I guess everyone thinks that way, or it seems like it lately. Just talkin' my friends, just talkin'. We just don't have a place to go to speak outloud without every hearing our private thoughts.

Yeah, just talk the emotes normally, and watch everyone scatter. It's much more realistic ;)

And...if the person(s) to whom that little rant was directed happen to read this...just note, I think you are very good all-in-all at RPing...just little things annoy me today I guess lol.

*he laughs* Yes that would be fun but I mean that my char will just be alone in a room with the person to roleplay sex with.
