then prehaps eating the notes would be a better option, eating a note would take 1 or 2 cantr hours and you would incurr 10 or so damage and you cannot eat healing foods until after you have finished eating the note.
eating the note should also require you to stand still as does other things like harvesting making things ect...

this way if soemone wants to just be an asshole they are likely to get themselves killed before they finish eating it. it would be the only way to balance it out if one was allowed to get rid of evidence.

as for human bodies. just pull them into a building and toss them in a locked room. ahahahaha omg i actually want to do that to everyone who makes me mad, just toss thier corpse in a locked room

I dont like notes...I mean..shouldnt there be signs or bulliten boards or something? What society operates by advertising and keeping important documents on the ground? I think we should make a bulliten board for some of the stuff thats on the notes. Also signs would be cool for advertising...I dont know what do you guys think?

i think we should inplement stone tablets that you can etch a message on with a chisel, only the creator can chisel, nothing can be erased, and you can break it with a sledgehammer but it would take a whole day and if you get killed by the townsfolk before it is finished then it is not damaged :)

Notes should perhaps be destroyable, but only by the creator, if set to be destroyable.

But that would mean that every note would have to have a record of the identity of the creator. Also, it's not very realistic. I know little about Cantr notes is realistic, but this isn't.

Well the idea of destorying buildings I bet the thread is still their back when I joined it started. If I remember right Jos doesn't want notes destroyed because he wants a written history of cantr or something like that, but burning bodies would be cool. You should be able to put them in an oven and creamate them. This would give you lets say "ashes of whoever" then you could build urns and place the ashes and maybe other things inside this would certainly help the Halls of the Dead, are they called? In Krif. Ashes should weigh less than a body. In fact they should weight a lot less.

Now that's an intersting idea.

Luckyly our Cantr chars cant smell the stench of burnt flesh.

note buring

Postby ArcticCandle » Mon Aug 16, 2004 9:41 am

Maybe you could use notes to 'light a fire' or something useful that someone may use in RL.

one of my characters just had to clean up notes and it took almost half an hour in RL to do so.

Maybe allow paper airplanes.

or allow messages to dissappear after time such as 50 days or something, make copies of course but this way there will not be tons of messages building up.

maybe have the person that made the note be able to destroy it.

I think that theives are bad enough right now ( what little i have seen) with them being able to burn down buildings or notes there would be alot of people wanting be be criminals , just because of the new feature.
