What happened to the animals?

except for some out every one's way locations, almost all populated areas have been cleared of animals. When will there be new animals, especially one to hunt for food.

I was going to post the same message, I miss those little racoons. Is it that we can't get a happy medium between large numbers and small numbers? Or that they attack too much? Sooner they get back in business the better!

Most likely, some more animals will be put into the game.

However, the societies must realize, that they can hunt the animals moderately, and allow them to continue living and breeding, thus realizing a renewable resource; or they can hunt the animals to extinction, and no longer fear their attacks.

There are animals about, I enocunted some scorpions and and a cheetah in the desert. They just don't last long near us, as is what happens in RL
