Thought or Rant of the day!!!

Okay so they tell you to take off your bottom clothing, then lie on this paper on the table. then you put your butt at the end of the table and put your feet in these holders (your knees are bent, its uncomfortable) ... and they put fingers in..and press your tummy.

Then they pick up this metal device which has been known to make a clicky sound. And they put it ..you know..and its cold... and then they do something that makes it click and OPEN. so yeah..and then they take samples *shrugs*

Sometimes you bleed after. And feel funny...Like you wanna laugh and cry all at once.

..But I do it every single freaking year.

Well Wiro, I'll tell you. *Rebma puts on her teachers glasses and outfit, set with tie, and picks up a piece of white chalk, turning to a blackboard*

There are many factors that go into a woman's decision to have this done. I'll list them for you. *writes in sprawling caligraphy*

- If sexually active, to make sure no diseases or abnormalities
- If of a certain age, or risk group, to make sure no things like cervical or uterus cancer are present
- In Canada, if a woman wants birth control pills (whether b/c sexually active, or because they have heavy menstrual cycles, bad acne, etc) They must undergo a yearly exam to make sure everything is well
-Miscelanious sub categories under the above.

So the company we work for is going to pay that stupid.. ***** $1000 from the money we are supposed to get paid the end of this month which means we have a total of $700 if that.. that we will be getting paid for a month of strenuous work.. I quit.. I can't do this. I am already two months behind on my bills.. OH and just to let everyone know ahead of time, my internet will be turned off after tomorrow if I don't pay the bill which I don't have the money to pay sooo... keep an eye on my chars, because I will be back. And dont worry I will be putting my account on vacation mode so it doesn't time out as fast..

*leans against the desk and folds her arms* Well Wiro, its simple. We've discussed money, and cost effectiveness before I'm sure. Let me ask you this, when you have a sore throat, or a cough, does the doctor send you to get one of those readable "beep beep" tests done, or do they say "open your mouth and say ahhh", and take a look themselves?

Its better, and easier, and more cost effective if the doctor just basically tells you to open your legs (minus the ahh) and takes a look.

I'm never sick or whatever. I haven't been to the doctor in AAAAAAAAAAGES. Last time was half a year ago for some anti-disease injection. And the other time was five years ago for the same thing. Other than that I've never been to the doctor because I felt sick or whatever.

So really, I don't know. I hate hospitals, doctors and all stuff like that. I think it's silly. Lots of people rely on it too much, and use it too much, making it inaccesable for people who need it.

A RANT!

I hate money! I hate (expletive removed) money! Money has no real value anymore, especially in America and, probably, Canada! Money USED to have value, back when it was backed in real gold and silver at places like the Federal Reserve. But now, the idiotic American government has, (and has done for time out of mind) taken all the real value out of the Dollar, and devalued the currency of most of the rest of the world as well. At least the Euro still has value.

I knew why before hand actually. Also I knew exactally what happend in said exam. I figured this was a PG forum and decided not to say more then I did. You see in high school you are taught those things however teachers don't teach well and my curioisty got the best of me. Wish it had not.

I just lost about 2 hours of work because Font Creator decided to randomly crash during a find operation, and I didn't want to save it yet because I would have had to give the font a unique name, version number etc. Well, maybe I'll start again when my mind had been numbed sufficiently to the hollow, bitter sense of pointlessness one gets when something like that is destroyed so easily.

The most annoying thing of all is that it isn't a one-off occurence. My entire computer has been gradually becoming less stable, slower and more error prone since I changed my processor while keeping the same OS and installed programs - all because I was forced to do just that due to a memory card bailing out, not long after a previous reinstall of my operating system. So I have now disabled Windows XP Themes to stop the UI from being intolerably slow and unresponsive, but the small amount of stability gained from that is quickly draining away.

Now, to reinstall my operating system I need to format my hard drive, and to format my hard drive I need to move my 50 or so GB of essential files and documents onto another storage medium with that capacity, and the next smallest working hard drive I have is about 6 GB. Now to solve this ship-in-a-bottle situation I have to either follow the potentially week-long prospect I have of obtaining a 120 GB hard drive for free, or try to move my files onto the unpredictable but 250 GB external hard drive which needs to be covered in ice packs to stop it from crashing when involved in file transfer for more than 5 minutes. A difficult ship-in-a-bottle situation I seem to have, and it isn't helped by the fact that transferring all my files, reinstalling the OS, copying back the files and reinstalling all the essential software will take several hours in which I will have basically nothing to do but wait, whereas I could carry on using this unstable operating system and risk the further loss of personal data, or even hardware failure due to the strain...

Or, I could always just play Cantr and ignore my problems until something happens that forces me to take action (fairly likely since I have done that kind of thing before). *Sigh*


As a side note, Mikki, you might want to consider that it is not the internet that is being taken away from you, but you who are being taken away from the internet. Water will always find a hole to flow into a sinking ship, and there is always a way to find your internets. I lived for a significant portion of my life spending little or no money in exchange for regular but imperfect contact with the internet. (In fact, if I recall correctly it was during this period that I started playing Cantr). Money you might lack, but Cantr will always be free, and even if it may not seem like it, so are the internets.

Well, maybe you'll be concentrating more on trying to straighten out your finances, but I'd say a hobo living in any medium or larger sized city could earn enough money to check their characters at least once every two days. And who needs food and shelter when you have Cantr to sustain you?

Buh. Money sucks. Life does too. In 55 minutes it's tommorow and I'll be emo for exactly 24 hours together with a friend. Life is so boring without trying something new every day.

But yah, no happy emoticons and smilies in my forum posts tommorow. Luckily none of my cantr characters are in a happy situation at the moment so I won't have to make my chars be sad for no reason at all. (They're love sick, angry because a friend got kidnapped, angry because they got raped and tortured, sad because she doesn't like girls. OOOH I have one happy one. He's super happy but rather nervous. I'll have to play him happy... *sighs* oh well.)

AND YAY. Wiro confusion. hmmm... I've had a lot of others. But they weren't really nice.
