suspicion

Postby trage » Sat Mar 27, 2004 7:06 pm

Yes I know it could just be a cordinated effort or coinicidence, but it looks kind of suspicious

776-3: You see Josh leaving Reniov Forest (south), taking Reniov Forest Path to Reniov Forest (west).

776-3: You see Person A leaving Reniov Forest (south), taking Reniov Forest Path to Reniov Forest (west).

776-3: Person A says: "Josh, lets just leave and head somewhere there is food."

Now the only reason I suspect anything is the two of them had never talked since they had gotten here and they left at the same time.[/b]

How long had they been there? Perhaps Josh just doesn't like to talk, is a follower. If you knew the other characters name, would be easier to check into.

Yes I will ask there if anyone knew who he was. How do you post character ID numbers?

Sending e-mail to players@cantr.net work for privacy.

If you give your chracters true name, along with a unique names you have called other characters it can be sorted out. True names make it easier.

No need to investigate IC unless your character has a reason to investigate.

Ok well the thing is they hadn't spoken so I don't know their names. He just called him josh told him to follow than they both left right afterwards within seconds of each other.

Aren't you allowed to have 2 characters in the same place?

Yes you are but not like that, they can be in the same place but not like this...

One talks and is the 'main' while the other is silent and is the 'mule' what trage posted was a main and a mule i would say. A mule being a character that never talks just works on the projects your main character started just to get things done faster. I should know, dont you know who i am?

Oh Yes. But why would they share food and leave at the same time? If this even is the same player or player freinds. The players dept said there looking at it so nothing for us to do but...play cantr!

Josh and Person A are not the same player.

Other than that, hard to say if a couple of players planned it ooc, or if the chars are just perhaps friends, and Josh follows Person A's lead without question. *shrugs* If that was pre-planned, pretty lame planning imo :P

If the person/people involved are innocent we are only being an irritation to that/those player(s). Plus the players dept will not tell us either way so best to just report and presume innocence on our part unless you have more info.

Well if the player is annoyed then he/she can say so. We like to debate things and talk about it O-o always fun to talk about breaches and how we think it is or not, then get into an argument never knowing who is right. If any is right.

What if they don't want to reveal themseleves?

And no these are not my characters but I've been in a similar situation where I was innocent and getting bad mouthed and couldn't talk back.
