Longest repair project?

Postby notsure » Sat Oct 11, 2008 2:15 am

What's the longest time you've spent to repair one item?

One of my charries just started an 18-hour repair on a steel sabre.

notsure :?

before they changed repairs... I had a ship full of blades and iron shields.. most were 20+ but some were up in the 30's took forever to get them repaired!

One of my charries got a steel axe that's used already, and would need to take care of it soon... but whenever I go to the repair menu and see the amount of hours needed... (over 5 days at least - will have to split it into few lesser projects :? )

Have an expert weapon maker do the repair project, that should save time!
And 5 days is not a lot of time, compared to the time needed to make a new one...

Crowbars used to take 99 hours but they also deteriorate slowly.

I think you mean crumbling. (Crumbling steel dagger)
Speaking about repairing, it's great to find something good in the projects list that has to repaired. :)

30+ hours on a steel battle axe. Good to keep busy with during travels.

I think it was 33 or so hours, on a steel battle axe. Made other people work on it, though :P

Yeah Battle Axes tend to be among the most lengthy. I always try to catch one of mine the day that it goes from Brand new to New, but it still takes 13 hours. I dread to think how long an often-used one would take to repair.
