I think i've seen that note before, it is sad. Reminds me of one of my char's lives in the desert.

He was only crazy once his hunger dropped below 75%... I figure with a body 92% damaged and hunger that dangerously low anyone would go mad

Before that, he was just delusional

I've just experienced my first charrie-death, in about 2 1/2 years of play. I'm...barely consolable.

I guess after 3 years I may as well post and old one. I don't remember most of the names, on two accounts, but my favorite and most memorable character was:

Moira Maladi.

Unforunately she starved to death because i lost my internet and couldn't get back in time. Damn you Satrap for not helping me stay fed. I'm still angry. Glad to see that she got nominated for unique was back when. She was so fun.

There would be no way for me to have lost interest in their characters' developments. I'm pretty sure I cried when I found out I lost her..she had reat things in the running.

I'm not receiving daily reports for the last several weeks. Could someone involved please pm me the details of the last day of Ty Beaumont, day 2352, in Sofjich Hills South.

He was the only surviving villager, and had the most keys of anyone else in Cantr (see a post about that).

He was tricked by pirates and thought he'd be safe on a bike. He didn't know he could be attacked on a vehicle.

He was a taciturn older guy, whose life goal was to set up a library which would store all the stories he had written. A life-long vegetarian, he had never raised a weapon to an animal or to a human until this event.

The town had been pillaged by pirates before. Once he escaped to Sofjich Hills North, to look for reinforcements, but by the time they arrived, the pirates were gone. The second pirate attack came soon after. There was basically nothing left to take, and he talked his way out of being killed by letting the pirates take what little he had. This third attack was more a killing spree than to steal town's goods, or at least that's what it seemed.

Ty Beaumont, rest in peace.

I couldn't think which thread to put this in, but since all my characters are dead I'll shove it here.

I won't be listing my characters, or grieving them, but grieving the living. (Living to the best of my knowledge, several weeks out of date)

Miss Emily Rogers - Sorry I didn't get your alumina refiner up and running. I'm sure Chase is a wonderful replacement.

Kiera Dean - Two characters taken from you now. I hope this one didn't hurt as much as the first.

The Kingdom - You'll be fine without me.

As? - I never did learn your language, or even become confident I knew your name. But you gave me hope in that desolate land.

Silver Knights - No new Baron.

Melanie Lynn - I never gave up hope.

Juliana Joyce and the rest of the crew - You were never going to be attacked anyway, I was surplus to requirements and knew it all along.

I moved house, by way of explanation. Suddenly. I decided on it on a friday, and had moved in by the sunday. I'll be back when I can afford a computer. Until then, keep Cantr warm for me.

Ah, dear Melanie Lynn. My character's life just isnt the same without her in it.

It turns out that my latest dead character, Desmerelda, died of starvation due to too many events going on around her. The sensory input was just so much that she didn't even feel the hunger.

Funnily enough, she was hit by a waster 5 minutes before she died - casting the attacker in a very suspicious light
