Finally!!

*does an embarrassingly stupid-looking happy-dance*

Ok, as soon as all the character descriptions are in, I'll send out the first game emails.

I have a question- does everyone know who's playing who?

Whom! :P No, like Cantr, everything is anonymous. Each player knows only their own character.

No problem. All character slots are filled now, anyway. If things go well and I start another 'round', you could join then.

I'm happy to answer questions. Bear in mind, though, that this is an email-based game so there won't be much 'gaming' going on in this thread.

Piscator: It's just a case of doing last-minute tweaks. Sorry for the delay. Everything should be ready to go within a day or so.

:D I've been so caught up in the excitement of "going live" that I forgot to even mention it here!

Anyway, I noticed that player response rates range from very frequent to "not replied to the first one yet". It's probably my own fault, because so far I've been answering the emails almost as soon as I get them. So, to even things up a bit, I'm going to leave a little more time between checking my emails. I might also slow down even further in the case of the more frequent emailers if the slower ones are too slow.
But don't let that put you off! Just hope that the slower ones respond quicker!!

I hope you players are enjoying it as much as I am!! (Or more!)

That's inherent to play by e-mail. Fortunately for me, I tend to prefer that pace. As much as I still enjoy Cantr, I do have to say that a slower pace is much appreciated during busy real-life weeks.

With the way we're doing it at the moment, I would hope that an e-mail a day shouldn't be too much to handle. So far I am only spending a minute per message, which fits just fine into a coffee break.

 I was just going to post here asking how the game seems so far. :)

Let's just say things are progressing nicely. Actually, I get a bit impatient because I know where it's leading and I'm eager to see it all come together. I reckon you're probably about 1/3 of the way through (collectively).

I find it interesting to see the way each character thinks about things, the conclusions they reach and the decisions they make.

I'd probably consider doing two games at once, but it would be far too time consuming. It takes me about 3 to 4 hours each day to process the emails I send out. Maybe if I had a program to simplify things... *shrugs*
