In other words, portable containers for items? I suggested something like this about three years ago when I was a newbie and I think even then it was a duplicate of an older suggestion. I don't see why it would be so hard to program, apparently the only thing holding it back is dimensions since you could put an endless amount of weightless items such as clothing in a container. But why would anyone want to do that?

Can you put coins in a container? Because if stacking them is too hard, and having the ability to empty them all from a container was easier to impliment, then maybe that would make things easier than having them all in your inventory.
People could hold, say, ten coins on a wooden plate and pass the plate around for buying things instead of each individual coin. It would mean there'd be work if you wanted to change the number of coins on the plate but that way things could be standardised across an area. Say, 10 coins on a plate and 15 on a bowl etc.
And i like the idea of other objects being in containers too.

yes, objects in containers. a toolbox would be pretty cool, and a case would make things more private. in the communities that i live, aren't many secrets between groups, but "You see John Doe giving a black case to Paul Ben" would incite the secrecy. i think that this would improve both playability and RP.

You could already be secretive with burlap sacks and iron/steel on regions that disallows trading it. Anyone tried that?
"What's in that?"
"What, nothing... I'm just selling sacks."
"Sacks, eh...?"
"Yup, good old sacks. They're a fashion trend these days."
Or then you put one gram of iron in the sack and tell the customer to check out the quality, inspect the seams and stuff. If they mention aloud that there's iron inside then you'll say "Oops, so that's where I put it! Thanks for your honesty mate, now could I have it back?" And leave town soon after before anyone gets suspicious. The other chance is they get the hint and say something like "What a fine sack, you wouldn't happen to have more of these?"
Sorry, a bit off-topic. Anyway, it would be even cooler with weapons. Though actually the laws on this one region don't say anything about selling weapons, they're only forbidding citizens from manufacturing certain things. Or so I recall.
