Building primitive oven indoors

Postby Spillages » Fri Jan 05, 2007 10:48 pm

The wiki says it can be built anywhere
http://www.cantr.net/mwiki/index.php/Primitive_oven
Yet the game says no.
ERROR: You can only build this when you are not inside a building or vehicle.=
Why not change the game to allow it?

I always thought Primitive ovens were allowed indoors though. I don't see why they shouldn't be indoors other than the fact that someone might be too lazy to take the time to add it.

The primitive oven has dung fueled projects. We wanted no cooking with dung on indoor machinery, because dung is a low tech level fuel and indoor machinery is at an increased tech level.

The addition of dung fuel and the primitive oven was always intended to give a boost to the survival of primitive cultures in remote locations.

Primitive refers to a lack of iron tools.

Remote refers to a location removed greater than three locations from wood and gatherable, edible food.

What about communities at war? Lock yourself inside and try to survive days on end without going outside to cook food. Make a high tech oven that can dry and cook with dung.

If you can't live in peace, don't go to war.

Oh ok that's interesting.
