I still stand by what I said... it was poor RP.. ( for an active player.. who uses great emotes)

(added) But it was great to see people get fired up for a bit

As long as we're all still friends...

I take your point you know the charracters invovled I don't, I all accept the specific situation but dispute the general pirinciple that every killing needs to be descriptively done and then we can all shake hands!

You did too say they got killed... all of this isn't worth falling out over anyways, just wish there was a little more give and take...

Maybe crosshair was in a hurry, its the weekend he thought he'd chuck in a blow but then his character killed your charri but he didn't have time to do it justice... it happens its a game!

I said kill them... which takes time.. but it was a very general statement.. trying to avoid giving any more details than necessary... but I got defensive... and divuldged more than needed to make my point... a fault on my part...

and.. not that all killings need to be... but when charris are active together... then it should stay that way...as you said yourself... changing the RP is not good...

I guess we just have different ideas about what RP is...

If I take Angus MacGregor as an example, one of the most verbose characters I have ever played alongside, when wakefull never misses an opportunity to have a speech or tale or a plan to outline...

I've seen him attack and kill.. don't recall him even speaking to a number of the people my charrie saw him attack. Its part of his character (I hope I am not misrepresenting the character here) that if anyone offends him or breaches the law they realise they will get the sharp end of a claymore... and he certwinly wouldn't waste his breath on speaking to them, unless it was to issue a warning and an example to others. I think he is brilliantly RP'd but his player certainly does not give a blow by blow description of an attack as it happens. Of course you might find an enhanced version of it in a note or song later but thats different.

Different people play the game in different ways... it's all role play... if you're not happy with it imagine it was a stab in the back or an arrow in the back.. you didn't see anything, youur character goes to his/her grave unaware of the fate that struck them.... do the RP for the murderer...
Death is often a time of quiet reflection, though I cannot say I have fated a person before in real life. :)

But you hit it on the head, if I'm allowed to describe it as such ;) for certain things are best left to interpretation, whether oral history or written accounts.

Striking a rule breaker, and murdering a friend are two completely different scenarios.

I have to agree with Sunni here, unless it was a deaf blind mute that was killing her char. But even they could emote something, though two active friends (the charries, of course) who rp together, I can definitely see this as being a very frustrating change. Especially as I can imagine her char is asking why they're doing this to her/him.
