If sex is programmed then they need to program weed and crack and a whole bunch of illegal substances. I think cantr is starting to head down the wrong path and will eventually lead to that kind of stuff if we don't stop it now.

Seriosuly though, I don't think we'll ever see a project called 'Have sex'. More like 'Create Baby', with couples deciding whether to RP it or not

I don't think cantr needs any more sex than it has in it already, although I don't agree with Spillages on the reasons why. There's no comparison between sex and crack (except for the obvious pun), and there's no comparison between crack and weed either, come to mention it.

Also, I don't agree that adding sex to the game will be a slippery slope (heh, heh) towards drugs and all sorts of anti-social behavior or whatever. But I don't really think it needs to be a huge part of the game. I'm all for sex IRL (in a committed and loving adult relationship, of course :P); not so much in cantr.

I realize we can't stop people from RPing sex, and if that's how you get your jollies, go for it, I guess.

But I maintain that babies should be made with an apothecary kit :lol:

No thats just more work for the Reseach Department, we already have desert snakes, sugar and some of the spices and I suppose iron is really nice but dead dogs will have to drop puppy dog tails and they'd have to design and place a whole new creature, the snail.

A lot easier just to introduce storks and let them migrate

Yo know, I agree. Storks could have a low reproduction rate, no attack chance, and low health, but they could be able to move like 10 pixels a day. (and across water) This could be the real compromise between spawning and making babies! When a stork is in the area and a player kills it, they'll get a baby object in their inventory as part of the loot. Then they could either sell it, bury it, or use it in the project to make a baby, which takes maybe 5 days and two people. After the baby is made, it becomes a baby object with a name that weighs 5 kilos. the baby could be put on the ground, and then it has the chance to do stuff like eat the things lying around (like notes, food, or bones (if it eats a bone, it'll choke and someone has to do a project 'heimlich manuver'). While in your inventory (or someone else's, as babies crawling around can be stolen :twisted: ) the baby will eat stuff like mashed carrots or mashed potatoes (something soft, no meat).

This idea is great!

Oh, and to give babies a bath you could use a cooking pot not on a fire pit, but you could also put it on the pit if you want 3 kilos of cooked meat
