Portable backpack! An upgrade to your inventory! Yeah, it might make walking become a long hike, but I bet plenty of people won't care that much. It can also be used for getting from building to building.

Aluminium Racing bike
Wouldn't need all the aluminium that jeeps and buses do, give people making aluminium something to do NOW, instead of several years down the road.
Pedal power, NO MOTOR, so won't be super fast like a motorcycle, but real fast for a vehicle with no motor. Won't hold much at all, again, much like how the motor cycles don't hold a person with a full inventory. Mainly, this would be a new couriers bike. Fast, but you would need waypoints set up so you can resupply with food and not starve, since you can't carry alot with you.
Just a smidgeon of iron and steel, to represent gears, chains and spokes, but aluminium, around 750 g or so.
Any takers?

I'm guessing they don't want Cantr being too warish more than crossbows and swords. It would be cool, but then people would be dying a lot. I heard about the gun thing...

They are based on the boats from the WoT book series... and are a little suggestion towards what Cantr would be like with fictional names..
Of course, I know by heart which is the biggest and fastest ship now...
NOTE: I corrected the spelling of vehicle from vechicle in the thread name... it was driving me crazy...

Because cause I wasn't sure how the balance of "power" would be affected by a land vehicle with no iron. It's much much more popular than I would have imagined, no idea how many have been built, but I'd like a bit more time to see what they do to the over all game before we add more of them.
Besides you didn't think of chariots either. wood + hide = really light, yet fast and no iron ... ? Think we'll get away with that?

Ah, a hovercraft?
Might be an idea.
And since I'm posting here anyway, haven't thought all of it out yet, but...
1. Zeppelin.
Maybe a crude zeppelin, which needs wood, hide or leather, gas and window glass...
And a more advanced zeppelin, requiring iron, steel, aluminum, silk (or any other fabric more appropriate), windowglass...
Both would also require an engine, that's the part I haven't thought through yet.
Or maybe the crude one would be pedal-powered, while the more advanced one uses an engine.
Let's say the crude one wouldn't need window-glass, just has a large wooden basket to carry people and goods.
The advanced one would obviously be faster, hold more weight, and maybe not cause tiredness, like the pedal-powered crude one would.
2. Trebuchet + parachute.
Okay, I'm half joking here, but... it might be interesting.
Trebuchet would require wood, rope, sinew, maybe rubber...
It'd get you to the next town real fast, or killed real fast if you don't have a parachute.
Parachute would come in silk or in cotton variants.
3. Hang-glider.
A bit more serious than the trebuchet.
Maybe the frame would be made of wood, or iron, or steel, or aluminum.
Then stretch some fabric over it... silk, to kinda prevent the sky to be full of hang-gliders.
All three would of course also require take-off/launching and landing facilities.
Or a clean-up crew in case of the trebuchet being used to dispose of unwanted people

(hmmm.... invading your neighbours by trebucheting your army in... muahahahahaha....)
