colors

Postby fishfin » Mon May 29, 2006 1:05 am

a lot of other games have it so you can say things in different colors (like red, blue...) but in cantr you can only use white, it be nice if there were a few more colors so that like if there is somethong very important you could use red (kind of like yelling) to make sure everyone sees it.

I just use Html in peoples names. If it's someone important I make their name red or something.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

Uhh what's the point? It has no use in Cantr..... I mean, in real life, you don't say:

'Hello Jim, let's get some lunch... Oh by the way right now I'm speaking in green!'

or if you want colours to suggest the mood you're in, it still doesn't work:

'Hello Jim, let's go get some lunch... I'm talking in green which means I'm green with envy right now!!'

Horrible idea. We'll have people talking in rainbow colours soon.

Yes and all other games are messy... It's so filled up with colors so you can't really see any words just a full screen of colors...

I just like it green thanks. And white...

I would like to see a difference between reports and messages.

You see a man pick up some pebbles.

A man says to you: "Hey, watch where you're going!"

That would be great. How often don't you scroll past something that someone says to your char? Just because there is to much of actions...

If that's what the poster means, god yeah! Great idea, but I got the jive he/she was suggesting that you CHOOSE the colours you talk in.

sorry, I wasn't clear, but what I wanted was a color other than white so that you can see the difference between eating and someone saying something to you and someone giving you something because I hate scrolling through pages of stuff trying to find out who to thank for the tomatoes...

my first idea was that you could say things in different colors but the idea of different things being different colors so it's easier to find things is even better.

Even still, against my own argument and kind of your own ( ), you can press (or hold) ctrl + f, and type in the word or phrase you're a-lookin' for!
