I say RP but lets put it to a poll
Somehow you strayed and lost your way,
and now there'll be no time to play,
no time for joy,
no time for friends
- not even time to make amends.
You are too naïve if you do believe life is innocent laughter and fun.

Yay! My thread is back!

Anyway, I don't think the implimentation of in-game miracles--ie miracles that aren't bugs--is a good idea.

The problem is, whether an astounding even tis a miracle is largely up for debate. If Jos were to program a "parting of the sea" then that would be interfering with the development of societies. It should be up to characters to create such constructs.

And, besides, having such is straying close to the realm of fantasy. I love fantasy, but this is a society simulator.
Like the beat beat beat of the tom-tom
When the jungle shadows fall
Like the tick tick tock of the stately clock
As it stands against the wall...

What about natural events? They were in the past interpreted as miracles. Such as randomly occuring comets, earthquakes, bog lights, all sorts of natural phenomenon. What are your thoughts on this?

I figure natural disasters would be interesting, quite aside from the religious aspect. I think they would also be a good balance between giving religions something to explain and realism, since they would be enitirely realistic, noticeable and unpredictable.

Well in Kirinn, the bug that happened when Klug died and Mandrake could talk to him became a religion--a so called miracle in Cantr.

That was what I was trying to say earlier as far as comets nd natural events that are realistic but could be interpreted in other ways.

And, Sammi, that wasn't a bug from my understanding.

Liarra Anorra in Siom died and came back to life.
Most people has either missed it or just didn't think it was an eyebrow raiser, but my characters relation to her has changed a lot.

Uhm. I think it should'nt be allowed to have a new char. spawned under the same name. Especially under a small language group, when one of my char's dies there and he owned a building or a business he could come back and claim it. That's not the point of the game, you will have to start over again and learn from any mistakes made.

Crap ey? I think Kirinn has a much better future than KF... Things in KF have gone horribly wrong and i believe this will stay for some time.

Jimothy, are you "Austin Powers" too by any chance?

What do you mean by "Things have in KF have gone horribly wrong", Orion, or does that conflict with the four-day rule?

No, what I meant by that is that nothing gets done there. ppl killing, insulting, etc. As a "society" it's worthless. Maybe it's time Kwor invaded the place.

And no, i know nothing about any future event. I have only one char on the island.
