Holidays?

Postby The Sociologist » Tue Apr 11, 2006 8:27 pm

Is there a northern hemisphere holiday season on the go at the moment? Just wondering because the game seems very very sleepy. Perhaps someone might help and list the times of year people are least likely to play Cantr.

Odd, I'm finding the game to be more lively than it has been for at least a month.

But easter is just about to begin. I've noticed the sleepiness too.
Is the average Cantrian a teenager who goes on spring break?

I'd be surprised if things will go as smoothly during the summer as this time of the year. I know I will be abscent for a week or so at times.

I signed up on Cantr late summer 2005, but you veterans probably knows what summer-time will be like?

I noticed the sleepiness too!! Not a nice thing, especially when I'm having exams.

I noticed that I tend to play Cantr more when I'm having exams :|

If I fail, it will be Cant's fault.

Brits seem to get a two-week holiday around Easter. Damn Brits... Personally I don't have enough time to play since I need to work on a school project. And we get an extended weekend, Friday to Monday thanks to Easter. But first I must finish the database project and then study for the maths resit. You call that a vacation?

School holidays are still around two weeks I think and student holidays are three weeks. :D But the average working person will only get one or two days, Good Friday and/or Easter Monday.

On a side note, I'm having the mother of bad days at work.

I was wondering about summer holidays... this year it probably wont happen but normally I would go away for 2 weeks...

If so I fully expect to find my charries all dead...

I know I could set up a 2 week projects for them and try and supply food for that period - not always possible.... but the way some places are going they will be dead in days..

Any ideas... and how do you RP nearly a years absence....?

:D Indoors, repairing crowbars, baking bread, most people forget about people when they are inside. :D

I was just gone for five days over Easter, and I didn't have any trouble - except for backreading the events log, that took way to long. I half expected a few of mine to die too, but none did.

A long sleep: it works AND you can have an IC reason to get away with not having to read all the events.

I took something like two weeks to drive from california to missouri, didn't even get hungry. Plan ahead!

One of my character was sleeping and was visited in her dreams by spirits and started a religeon from them. Not pushy about it, but I've already put down a newspawn trying to promote thier religeon using mine, and had other towns people siding with my god.

Sorry Jos, your Angel on Aki didn't fly. No offense.
Reality was never my strong point.
