well...I'd have to say, if your character wants to fix problems, or speak his/her mind, Quillanoi is the worst place...If your character wants to live, Lad or any desert is the worst place....if your character wants to have no friends, and be a social outcast, drojf is the worst place to live...

I'd have to say that most of the desert and mountain areas are the worse, many a char has nearly starved because they didn't have sufficent food, or got lost and walked in circles for years.

Why do so many people have problems with Lad.? I haven't yet lost a character I cared about there...
But the deserted swamps, deserts, and mountains have to be the worst places.

It's not about losing characters in Lad. Imo, it's about there incompetence and general stupidity. Not to mention I hate the government...and the laws
I just can't stop coming back....

I don't understand the OOC hatred some players have towards the Lad Empire. It is a fictional game, but some people seem to be quite angry over Lad. This game is about society experiments, I see Lad as one of the few original governments in the game and great fun to play in, its rigidness gives it culture and identity to the people.

Oh and I think the Knatr Mountains are the worst place in Cantr. When I first started Cantr, I had two of my first five or so characters spawn there so I thought it was a major location, but then I found only one place with food, no wood within sight. It was quite desolate. This of course was probably before turn 100. It still has not every really developed, I do have a living char that started the first building there though.

I dont Blaman is the place to be, i had a char there, mountains all around, you have to travel for years on end through the mountains to see another bit of plain flat land, with food. One of my chars was there, well he was travelling for a couple years, and run out of food halfway there, i think he ended up near lad. is that a long way?? :? So then he ran out of food.. asking about, stupid people ignored him :( Why cant there be food on mountains?
Like "Mountain Potatoes" Yeah, "mountain potatoes" or just some minor food that grows on the side of a mountain.. so i think mountains are rubbish. But at the same time, if they are near a good food source they can be cool, especially if your packed with carrots on a mountain with iron and near a permanant food source, would that not be just great??!!

Most players are great if you role-play. However some do suck if you spawn there. e.g. forests and mountains with sparse population and no food. I'm too lazy to hunt for food.

Can you spawn in anywhere then? Not just main cities/towns?
