Animal domestication is one of those very, very, very big and time consuming and difficult changes that has been in the works for a long time from what I understand...

Patience.. :P They need to take their time on it so that there won't be horrible repercussions... and this animal thing that happened recently was partially due to some work towards individualization as well, I believe Jos or Chris said... (heh, sorry if my recollections and understanding are faulty)

So.. to get back on track, an animal suggestion? How 'bout... *hopes it hasn't been suggested but is sure it has* a mongoose? hehe, yea, so this is why I don't post animal suggestions... I never have good ones... :P

And what about parrots nad other exotic birds? Than we would have a red feather, blue feather etc. so we'll be able to create pices of cloth in different colors. And a great idea is to create a very rare creatures, which will contain precious resources....

Or perhaps they could be plastic covered duck-billed platypusses, or maybe even sealing wax billied platypusses? Now they would be some sights :D

I think that one is a programming issue, though. Everyting gets "s" stuck to the end to denote plural, whether it's appropriate or not.

This has always been the case. Sheep is the singular form, so in Cantr, sheeps is the plural form. The same holds with deers, buffalos, and mooses amongst other animals. It is very simple to add an 's' to the end, and much harder to make sure the plural is correct for every species.

Could we got like rats that live in buildings and boats and stuff? They don't have to carry diseases or anything (yet), but it would be nice to see the hunting button go to some use when you're in a building or on a boat.
All of my endings are waiting to begin.

Yeah, I've always thought that inside animals would be good, rats, mice, perhaps even cockroaches and silverfish.

And then something else I've wanted to see be implemented, these animals could eat food that is left on the floor

Could we please get animals in the water? Like whales and maybe even birds. They may be rare but still... I'm pretty sure this isn't implemented yet. (I'm a wiki person)
