Great to meet another sailor, although younger than me :D

So, what kind of boat do you have?

Thanks Dee! I'm always impressed with you, too. You seem to have a wonderful heart.

As far as a boat...we're land locked at the moment (besides an 18 foot ski boat that we use on weekends). We just didn't feel we had the time, until recently, to do any cruising so we never bought a cruising sail boat.

I have been looking actively. I was in Tampa a couple of weeks ago looking at a 27 ft C&C...too small, but it came with a lease on a slip in the heart of Tampa.

We want a steel haul (which speaks to my sailing ability), 37 to 44 ft with 2 quarter berths aft and a V berth with private head. Unless I find a heck of a deal I probably will not actually buy the boat until early 2007.

I will be in Chicago this week at the Sailboat show to see what's new, but I will probably buy a used boat.

Well, good luck to you, and happy sailing.

We're awaiting the delivery of our new 31 ft Hanse, which will be late may, moving up from 24 ft :)

Awesome! Hanse 315?

Please post pictures when you get it! Will you cruise in Europe or do you have bigger plans?

I will, definately :)

It'll be the Baltic sea to start with, and then..well, we'll see, around Europe for sure though.
