You mean we don't all live in trainstations? Lucky bugger...

Hey, it shows me as living in the middle of the Halifax harbour.

Under the pictures there is a profile thing of yourself, next to location there is a "modify" link, there you can nudge your marker to where ever you feel like.

I just switched myself to my school, and then I can switch back when I go home for Christmas. :D

For some reason, I'm not seeing the modify thing you were talking about to locate myself properly... :?

Thanks Salad, my screen doesn't even have the location part. How strange...

I found it somewhere, I think you need to go to your own profile, anyway, it's in the right side of the screen, a little map where you can nudge the marker to where you want it to be.

*grins* It's filling up nicely now, but only 31 people? I'm sure that there are more Cantrians out there, or does that mean that there are only 31 of us that read the forums regularly? *winks*

And yes, it's possible to put the marker directly on to your house if you want using the satellite view.

Out of interest (I could figure this out for myself if I wasn't being lazy), but what's the best magnification you can get? I'm one of the lucky ones, I can get all the way to maximum zoom.

I can only get to about 2 less than maximum.

So I can't see the details of the little reed hut with big iron lock I live in. Nor the 7 buffalo I share the marsh with . It's a good location, the town of Brighton is only 4 days walk on foot (5 if I'm carrying those 30lbs of potatoes I live off) . I can get stone there, which I can trade in Seaford another few days march away , for limestone. Soon I'll have enough to start smelting enough iron and steel for that tandem bike project I'm working on , but I'll probably need some rubber - A traveller who was passing through looking for London, once told me you could get that in the Dutch East Indies , though its changed it's name since the dynamic naming was introduced. I can't find it on any maps but I'm sure I could build a dingy and go look for it.
