Dragging animals?

It would be so cool to bring a desert tortoise home and show it around for money since most characters have never seen such creature so it would be exotic and new.

Hehehe... But yeah, currently one of my characters is in a town where there are only racoons, and it's quite horrid and boring. Imagine an evil group of people intent on killing all animals on the face of the Cantr. People could drag their pet goats and hawks and racoons onto a boat called Noah's Arc (galleon) and float away!

What's better, is a boat with 3 or so animals of the same type- you would never need food again, just fell one with a sabre or a bow, and cook the meat!

But then again, I guess the downside to this is the fact that if it dies, it drops surplus bones, eventually weighing down the boat...

Which could be resolved by ensuring animals cannot breed on boats, for example.

Domestication, dragging, rising etc. etc. will have to wait until the individualisation of animals - which is long in the works.

Pie, you sound so much like a child... Almost like a child begging his mum for chocolate or something. :? It's a game, alright, it's not like your life depends on clicking a button and making it say 'an animal is being dragged, woot'. Buy a dog, put a leash on it, and if you so desperately desire, drag THAT around... But knowing you, you'll take that seriously and probably kill it. So don't drag it around. Better yet, don't buy a dog.

I don't think Pie has a dog. Pretty sure he has a cat, don't recall what the cats name ended up being...
