well.. when the "Jumbo" thing happens... there should be NOTHING that drops to the ground.. exept a mark.. that is invisible to all cantarians.. but that mark is were ONE NEWSPAWN WILL SPAWN.. and it can wait FOREVER until another newspawn spawns.

So... i just want a programing mark that a cantarian cant see, but if he remembers right.. he will be able to pinpoint that mark with infoulable acuratsy. And that mark will serv as an egg.. exept... NO EGG.

Anyhow, I'm in favor of eggs. As far as I can tell, they solve a problems like pregnancy and the unmatching numbers of people wanting children and waning to be children, and don't add any new problems, unless you count the permanent step away from RL as one.

Basicly.. when the momy and the dady do the horizontal dance of love, NOTHING HAPPENS!!! NOTHING AT ALL!! Exept, that there is now a posability for ONE NEWSPAWN TO SPAWN THERE. And that posability is invisible to ALL CARACTERS. And, when a newspawn spawns there, THE POSABILITY DISAPEARS.

Either that, or you just have to wait a day to do the "dance of love" again, and if you do it again in THAT EXACT SPOT, then THE CHANCE OF A NEWSPAWN SPAWNING THERE JUST INCREASES, AND THE "CHANCE" CANT BE SEEN BY ANY CARACTERS, AND WILL NOT DISAPEAR. So that means, that newspawns can continulasly be spawned at one point, not taking into consideration any other variables in that town, or building.

Whose to say that the egg will take 1 day to come out of a woman. What we could have in the game is the odds of getting pregnant low and then once pregnant, it takes about 30 days for the egg to pop out.

I like both the egg idea and the newspawn child idea but I think eggs might start a child trade and that I'm not so keen on. I am not so sure about the female no knowing if she's going to have a child or not either. The parents won't be able to prepare for it!

Plus if I am to play a child... I'd like to start at around age 3 or 4, not 10. If I'm to play a child I'd like to play a REALLY fun one, and children at age 3-4 can work if the family need them too. In some countries they work really hard. I've seen a 4 year old working in a quarry moving huge stones.

The egg that is no egg ... that sounds like a Variable. The chance a newspawn will spawn. That takes away pregnacies and eggs all together.

If we're gonna have kids, we're gonna have pregnancies. If eggs start popping out of people ... well, you might as well make up some NPC's and casting magic missle. Eggs are against everything Cantr has ever tried to be, and to only reason people are embracing this idea at all is they fear how kids will be roleplayed.

Meh...I don't like this idea too much. I know this isn't an Earth society simulator, but it's closer than anything else. Why is it Cantrians still walk, instead of being able to teleport? Why do they have to eat? Why don't they have eight tentacles? I think it's important to keep Cantrians closer to humans, we've got to have something to base Cantrian society off of.
