IRC Trouble please help if you can

IRC Trouble please help if you can

We set my sis up to use IRC when she was at my place(with her laptop)...now at hers, she cannot log on! This is the message she gets

Unable to connect : java.net.NoRouteToHostException : No route to host: connect

any ideas?

She's probably using a firewall that blocks the required ports for IRC.

Or another protection software.

I tried to go back into IRC after being away for so long, but with this new computer I just get this error:

Unable to connect : java.net.SocketException : Software caused connection abort:

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. I tried redownloading and turning off my firewall, but XP Professional's firewall has a mind of it's own.

:( :( It is not the firewall...I think her connection is to slow...she has dialup and I use wireless. She brought her laptop down here and it connected fine...

Sparkle...Try updating your JAVA? I don't know really :p
