Change in the Item Deterioration Terminology

Postby swymir » Sat Sep 03, 2005 11:53 pm

I found it odd to day that I saw an "Often-used" landmark. After a quick smirk I began to think the term "used" is mis-leading since an item can get that way without ever being used at all. Maybe change it to something like "worn" just to make me happy.

I've long been in favor of a more accurate descriptor of decay that "used". "brand new" and "new" are also misleading--how can something old be made new again? I'd prefer "well-maintained" or "pristine".

Good idea.

I don't want to think about what people would be using a landmark for.

We must all have heat vision and keep wearing down the landmarks every time we read them.

NO No NO!

Keep the terminology the same as it is right now, at least long enough for me to see an "often used body of a woman in her twenties"

Then you can change it.

Agar, Jos removed that term from the bodies a long time ago. Never gonna happen, dude.

I don't think it shoudl take very long to change and it would certainly make my OCD go into remision.
