i have a very old version of windows media player... it doesn't have that option... tried opening it anyways, but it doesn't connect.

Cannot open 'http://65.220.67.39:8825/'. Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again.

thats what it says.

Can you come to the chat room and tell us what's wrong?

What browser are you using? You should be able to right click the link and save the playlist. If it didn't work in Firefox, try INternet Exlporer. Once you have it downloaded it should play in most players. What version of Media Player are you using?

EDIT: Moments late. Congratulations!

Oh yeah. And if anybody ever has problems with it, once again come to the chat room. We can help you much faster through there!

Also make sure WinAmp accepts .PLS files.

If you can't get it to work, try the following:

Right Click - Save Link As...
In WinAmp, Open File...
Open the playlist.pls file that you downloaded

Should work that way.

I am going to do a live show today, plus I will be on and off as much as I can today. Just to switch things up a bit. We will talk about Cantr, play some games and take requests, so if you want to play along just go visit us at the Cantr Chat room.

Well the station is still going strong. I am now able to have a rss link for it and I have set it up on digg. http://digg.com/diggall
Just do a search for Colonel's Station and so on. Thank you.

It is just a playlist for the songs on the server but if we get people to give it more "diggs" maybe we can get more people to check it out and check out cantr. Just a try...

I have been fooling around all day with something new for the station and for cantr. If you have a RSS reader please go check this address out.
http://www.freewebs.com/colonelsoanes/csnewsflash.xml

It will have the latest news for the station and if I get the okay from Jos and other staff members, maybe we can have Cantr II news on it also.
Go check it out and let me know what you think.
So far it is very rough but I will be getting better at it as we go on.

Thank you for listening to the station.
