Anyone pre-ordering it? It looks like a space video game version of Cantr.

Gonna wait for reviews first. Too much hype surrounding that game.

This should be in the non-forum games section of the board.

I'm following it, and hoping it lives up to the Hype, but also have not -quite- yet pre-ordered it until I see some first-hand experience from "the general public". I tend to go after games at least a month or two after release anyway, just to get a better sense of long-term playstyle or "fun Factor". :)

Still, that said, I am Very much looking forward to hearing it's awesome as they say. I want to play it. :)

I'm not convinced by it. It's not selling the gameplay, it's selling a fricken map. Just a map. Sure, an endless one... but without an incredible gameplay to back it up (like building your own ship and travelling with it to each planet) it's going to fall flat. You can't just promote a "big world" as the main feature. What is going to make me enjoy going planet to planet aside from aesthetics? Is it going to be painful and annoying to have to keep planet-hopping? Are they going to make resources limited to certain planets? etc
