"Factorio is a game in which you build and maintain factories." Doesn't need much more explanation than that. Watch the trailer and it will speak for itself.

I can vouch for this one! I've got conveyor belts running all over the place and everything is a mess but it's so much fun. If you like Minecraft, especially modded up for heavier industry definitely check it out. The demo's a good tutorial.

Okay that's great but did you guys try the game? Because it rules.
One of the few I've come across with addictive power strong enough to cut into my Cantr time.

I'd move the topic but I'm too busy riding my awesome coal train?

I watched someone who played it a lot. Seemed cool though maybe a bit repetitive though I think I watched it while it was incomplete.

I've played for hours and still not made it to through the whole tech tree yet, but tbf I'm terrible at these games.
Gaaah it can be too complex for my slow dumb brain sometimes. I tantrumed and smashed that whole section of machines while trying to make green science packs in a way that was less of a mess, then I screwed around so long replacing it I failed to noticed everything had ground to a halt because the drills had exhausted all the iron ore.
Then I got swarmed by aliens trying to claim some smaller deposits further out. :/ Time to switch to sandbox mode awhile and see if I can figure out how to set things up at that level more quickly.
People I know are making plastics already, I'm so, so bad at this.

Re: Factorio
Not sure if you ever heard of them (Probably haven't) but it was Arumba that played it. I think the general strategy is to try and have an idea of where you are going when you start making it. He also made it one long line instead of trying to bunch everything together. It seemed to help with keeping things organized though it messed with their drones if I remember correctly. I might not it has been over a year since I watched his original series.
