I've been following the development of Legend of Grimrock for about a year now. At the end of last week, the game was finally released.

For anyone that played the old Eye of the Beholder games back in the nineties - you will love this game. It cites EoB as an influence, but honestly the first time you see a block of 4 skeletons, you know this game is the heir to the EoB crown.

Anyone else playing, or interested in this type of game? Much more appealing to me than games like Skyrim!

I loved the EoB series! I will definitely check this out.

Giant Bomb did a Quick Look gameplay video of Legend of Grimrock. (The Quick Look videos are very useful at getting a sense of the games, especially when there is no demo.) The hosts had good things to say, though I decided that it's probably not for me.
